Dickinson Soccer Club Application for Financial Assistance

The mission of the Dickinson Soccer Club (DSC) is to provide the opportunity for youth to develop as soccer players.  We believe children should not be excluded from participation because of household financial circumstances.  Scholarship qualification will be based on financial need, regardless of soccer ability.  Financial aid depends on the amount of funds available and the number of applications received, and full or partial scholarships may be awarded.  Please note uniform and/or tournament fees (if applicable) will not be included in the scholarship.  Information provided will be kept confidential and used only by the DSC board to determine scholarship eligibility.

Scholarship Requirements

• You must be willing to discuss personal financial matters with a member of the DSC board. 
• Parents and/or soccer players must be willing to participate in volunteer activities.
• Players are required to attend a minimum of 80% of scheduled practices and games.  Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in the loss of your household's scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements (Proof of any one of those listed below is acceptable)

• Qualify for or be receiving free or reduced school lunch.
• Qualify for or be receiving temporary assistance for needy families.
• Qualify for or be receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly Food Stamps).
• Foster Care
• If special circumstances apply, please submit this in writing, on a separate sheet of paper.
